Meet Linsey & GiGi
When I started working with children at the age of 16, it didn't take me long to figure out this was my passion. Watching them grow and discover all the things they can do & it being more than they ever thought possible, is inspiring. After several years of managing a non-competitive children's fitness center I decided it was time to follow my own dream. My goal at Tumblebuddies is to create a program that is fun, where kids can thrive and reach their full potential. After dancing for 10 years I have experience with en pointe work, tap, jazz, modern, hip hop, character, and lyrical; winning a few first place "I Love Dance" Competitions along the way. Most recently I have worked at a competitive gym as well, which gives me a more well -rounded perspective on the sport of gymnastics. I will bring what I have learned from all my past experiences to create a unique, fun, and educational experience for all children, whether it be in dance, gymnastics, or other creative activities.
Since the age of 10 I knew that I wanted to work with children. In college I didn't know exactly what path I wanted to take, but being a teacher of the arts immediately grabbed my attention. So I started coaching children's gymnastics at a non-competitive gym a little over four years ago while taking college courses. My focus was music while I dabbled in dance. I then moved to competitive gyms and trained with USAG, mastering spotting and programs built for age-appropriate gymnastics. With over 20 years of combined training in music and dance and a child of my own, I knew I had found my niche. My goal is to help build a program that will help produce confident, healthy and fit kids through fun, structured gymnastics and dance programs.
